  1. Support Dark Mode in Reading Pane

Please make the preview pane appear dark in dark mode. The current implementation hurts the eyes and is woefully inconsistent with the rest of the application appearance.

  4. I suggest you add Archive feature in Mac version exactly as in Windows version.

Archive feature in Windows cleanly allows storage of mail offline in a *.pst file. Archive functionality is missing in Mac Version. I carry 53 GB of mail with huge syncing and spinning issues.

  5. Please add "Recall this message" function for mac!

Please add "Recall this message" function for mac!Every time when I would like to recall an email on my macbook, I need to open the Parallels Deask for windows and then open the outlook for windows to recall the email. It is so annoying. More importantly, in "recalling" situation, time is of the essence. In this sense, after I accomplish the two steps aforementioned, the reciever has already opened the mail and I would fail in the recall unfortunately.

  6. Requesting Outlook for Mac have an image attachment file resize utility. To both resize the image(s) and show the outgoing email size.

We have an office of over 100 employees often sending images between design teams. Our previous email client application had the ability to resize images to lower resolution at the time of sending an email. Without this feature in Outlook we have found more difficulty in our workflow.

  7. Provide conditional formatting for email

Provide conditional formatting functionality that is in the Windows version of Outlook to the Mac version.

  9. Make rules a lot more flexible

Improve rule syntax with AND and OR operations, wildcards for more general matching, and tiered approach for rule application.

  11. open msg files in outlook

We store .msg files in SharePoint document libraries and OneDrive, and to my surprise they would not open in Outlook 2016 for Mac.

If there is not a trick to make this work, it should definately be a feature!

  12. CryptoTokenKit (CTK) support for digital signing and encryption.

Apple has began depreciating older token.d frameworks for CryptoTokenKit with the release of macOS Mojave. At present, Outlook can see the certificates. However after you select them, the changes do not save and returning back to the accounts page shows the digital signing, encryption, and authentication back to "none selected"

  13. Create a rule to edit the delayed sending of emails

Create a rule, which applies to all emails sent on all devices. This rule allows you to select and edit a delayed time.

  14. Allow smart folders in Favorites

The new Favorites category in the sidebar is nice, but should also allow Smart Folders to be added as Favorites. I want a few of my smart folders at the top of my sidebar. As do others...there are at least two other feature requests on this page asking to allow the Smart Folders section to be re-ordered higher in the sidebar so they are more easily accessible. Consider adding all those votes up to count for this request, because this request can help solve that problem too.

  16. Support RSS feeds in Outlook for Mac.

You really should enable RSS feeds. I'm not sure, but mine seem to work, but recently stopped until I had a PC running update email, then they fed back to my Mac running outlook. A major feature like RSS support should be mirrrored in Mac Outlook. I hardly use PC outlook any more, but if I dont' have RSS feeds, I may have to stop using Mac Outlook and put a VM PC on my Mac just to run Outlook PC. I'm sure that I'm not the only one, as I saw almost a thousand votes for this on another…

  17. Sign Druide Antidote connector for Outlook for Mac

We use a 3rd party spelling checker supplied by Druide Informatique with Outlook for Mac called Antidote. Since we moved to macOS 10.14 Mojave, this spelling checker does not work with Outlook. It does work however for Word among other Microsoft applications. Our understanding is that with Mojave, Apple introduced security features that prevent communication between Outlook and Antidote. We see two options: (1) Microsoft “signs” the Antidote connector for Outlook, or (b) Microsoft publishes a new API to be consumed by third parties such as Druide. Would Microsoft consider these options?

  18. Add a mouseover event that displays the 'full Sent To email address"

I have several email addresses configured in my Outlook. Currently the only way I can find out which address a specific message was sent to is by viewing the message source and finding the sent to address in the message headers. This is idiotic, when it would be so easy to add a "mouse over event" to the Contact Object that is in the message view. Currently there isn't a way to view the the sent to address easily, and when viewing the contact, it shows you all the addresses in the contact and not just the one this message…

  19. Enable auto archive and Manual archive based on user settings option in Outlook for Mac like we have in windows.

Enable auto archive and Manual archive based on user settings option in Outlook for Mac like we have in windows. In windows user can either setup auto archive features in outlook for specific time period or user runs auto archive by just selecting outlook Folder and date under archive tab
