  1. New feedback from Outlook.com

Is there a way that we would be able to get information back after we report a phishing scam or what we think is a phishing scam. I ask this because often when I send things in I never know if that's what they are or if I am adding unnecessary work to whomever looks at these things or if I am correct to continue doing what I am doing. Also if there was something that I really should have looked at and thought was a scam I would be able to give the proper action required. (example a legitimate…

  2. New feedback from Outlook.com

when I type emails in outlook.com using Edge browser, my first words in sentences are not automatically changed to capitals. only the letter I is changed automatically from small to capital and some spellings are highlighted in red, but not all. is there a setting to change this? there are many forums/sites on web saying that outlook.com has no built-in spell checker. this is important. please add this to outlook.com. as you can see there is no automatic spell checker in edge itself either, as I am typing this message in Edge browser in the help panel in outlook.com. I…

You idiots have made outlook unusable. Why would you remove the "find all emails" feature? also why does it not delete from my inbox when I click DELETE???

  5. New feedback from Outlook.com

    1) All of my folders and sub folders used to be sorted.

    2) I also could move folders above others.

Both were taken away with upgrade.

    Please bring this back!!

    Thank you

I am not able to access my "other" emails because the tab doesn't show up anymore. Is there a way to fix this?

  8. New feedback from Outlook.com

Please find a way to allow users block these Junk Emails with <info something something> addresses I do not know how to trace original addresses and block those. Many junk emails seem to have these prefixes now. I report them as phishing but that does not stop them from sending them to me.

  9. New feedback from Outlook.com

I DID NOT LIKE THE CHANGE IN DISPLAY FORMAT AT ALL.
FOUND IT VERY INCONVENIENT TO FIND THE UNREAD MAILS
CAN NOT SEE ALL MAILS SERIALY.
I GET IRRITATED WHEN I SEE THE SCREEN AND FEEL LIKE CLOSING
    MY HOTMAIL ACCOUNT.
PREVIOUSE FORMATE WAS COMPARATIVELY BETTER THAN THIS.
UNDER THE NAME OF MODERNISATION READING THE MAILS HAVE BECAME
    VERY COMPLICATED.
IF THE FORMAT IS NOT CHANGED I WILL HAVE TO CLOSE MY HOTMAIL ACCOUNT.
AND I AM COMPELLED TO DO IT BECAUSE OF THE SO CALLED MODIFIED SCREEN.

  10. New feedback from Outlook.com

Allow users greater freedom to adjust junk mail filtering. Currently they are way too strict as I missed a job interview because the email, from a very reputable academic institution (Oregon Health Sciences University) was flagged as spam. I recently had another important email get sent to the junk folder as well. If I'm going to have to check junk everyday I'll just go back to my Gmail account where the filtering is less strict.

Why do tasks not synchronise across devices? Seems like such a basic thing - a list of tasks, your basic To-Do list, and Outlook does not allow it to sync from desktop to tablet to mobile phone.

Isn't that an insane lapse in functionality? I have to use a different app just to sync my daily to-do list?

Many rules stopped working when the Hotmail format changed to Outlook. The rules box work area is so small now its impossible to work with!

  13. New feedback from Outlook.com

How do I stop Outlook from keeping every email address I have ever used or received mail from? Every time I start and address Outlook lists every email every to graces my inbox/sent so I can choose one, even ones that are misspelled. I once pasted a paragraph to the address field and now have a mess of suggested insane non-addresses that Outlook collected from that paste boo-boo,

I took all of my contacts OFFLINE, completely remote from Outlook and any other email account so that hackers can't robomail **** or drug deals to my business and academic colleagues. So…

  14. New feedback from Outlook.com

Since you've "upgraded" Outlook Mail, the Blocking of Junk mail seems to be not as effective as it's predecessor. I used to be able to click on all the items in the Junk folder and block them all with no problem. Now I get various messages about how this or that email can't be blocked because the address isn't valid or they are scammers who try to use my own email address as their sending address. I never had problems blocking things before. Now it is a big chore because I have to individually select and block each scam/spam email.…

Allow folders to stay collapsed. I have sub folders for the purpose of burying low priority topics, but when I collapse folders, tey are always expanded again when I log back in.

Open multiple emails in multiple windows.
Currently popout is glitchy (email unresponsive), and can't open in tabs.

  18. New feedback from Outlook.com

Fix the bug so that when my Outlook.com profile is having issues connecting to the service, I can still MANAGE all features of my OUTLOOK for my other email providers. Even though all my other accounts connect just fine, I can not manage rules for them WITHOUT DISCONNECTING MY OUTLOOK.COM account from outlook since there is a problem syncing with the server that hosts my email account. But because this ONE account is offline in outlook 365, all the rest of my accounts can not be managed for creating rules. This is simply idiotic.

On this new format, how can you get to see the entire width of the message like clicking on "view in full-screen" like you use to be able to do?
