  1. Stop messing around without proper testing. Junk missing again.

There are multiple updates annually. No option to accept.
Why is there no apparent testing on a realistic level? That is on a level that equates with the reality of users, not the reality of testers.
So many bugs destroy data and leave users high and dry as there is no roll back or reintegration of service.

  2. Stop automatically submitting the names of senders/recipients of my mails to Linkedin. This is a gross privacy violation.

If anyone sends me a message, the contents of that message, including the names of senders and recipients, are personal data of mine. They are NOT for Microsoft to send automatically to Linkedin to perform searches on these named individuals, or for any other purposes.

This is a violation of my privacy, by you using the contents of my mailbox for purposes way outside those which could reasonably be expected, and a violation of the privacy of anyone sending me a mail, since they do not know in advance that their name will be submitted to Linkedin as soon as…

  3. OUTLOOK "extract Junk Mail Source data"

Extracting Junk Mail Source data via the "new" Outlook LiveMail results in corrupted data. There are over 8600 votes for this specific issue to be fixed yet just like the feedback MS received about 1809 Fall update, which they ignored, only to have the 1809 update ***** squillions of MS Customers files, computers, etc. etc.... And MS finding themselves in the embarrassing position of having to pull 1809. Never mind all the angry customers...

MS Outlook Engineering, responsible for updating web Outlook.com, could fix this easily: the Outlook Class Junk Mail does not produce corrupted Junk Mail Source data.
    No-one…

  4. ALT Gr + vowel shortcut for accents

Alt Gr + vowel shortcut to put an accent on that vowel should be implemented - Gmail has it, why not Outlook? Indeed, Outlook used to have this but not the vowels 'i' and 'u' do not work correctly.

At the minute, when I hit Alt Gr + i or u, it only changes the formatting to italics or underline respectively. What I would expect when I hit Alt Gr + i is an accent on the 'i' i.e. 'í'; the same goes for Alt Gr + u - this should be ú

  5. Fill out rules in advance when creating, just like regular outlook.com

When creating a rule for emails, fill out the filter rules in advance like in Outlook.com not beta, so a user will have to only remove and not type fields manually.

  6. Insert tab should always be available as in the past.

The Insert tab should always be available, not just when in "pop-out" view. It has always been available in the past; there is no compelling reason why Outlook is not consistent in this regard

  7. I think outlook is still slow. And have to be better like Gmail for email

It takes longtime for the connection to open the outlook after signing in and closing. For news feed is brilliant.

  8. Suggest Subject line to sender

Please Suggest subjects lines to sender from, the subjects lines created by the receiver for each individual filter created for specific folders from Inbox.

  9. Add a field next to subject line for "Action needed," "information," etc.

My boss wants everyone to type "Action" or "Information" in the subject line of emails. I think it would be better to have a field where we could select the type of email it is, and then people could sort or filter in their in-box to make sure they address action items first. It could be called "class" or "level."

  10. Allow me to delete an email from the Desktop Alert

In previous version (Windows 7) when i got a desktop alert for an email i was afforded the option to delete the email right then if I knew it was unwanted, duplicate, or whatever. But in Windows 10 with Outlook 2016 i simply delete the alert and i have to go back and open Outlook to delete the unwanted email. I really miss that feature.

  11. I don't have, or don't know, of a way to define an outlook message rule which would automatically mark incoming emails as 'phishing' email.

I don't have, or don't know, of a way to define an outlook message rule which would automatically mark incoming emails as 'phishing' email.
Add a rule option to move messages to a 'phishing' folder to be reviewed by outlook engineers/engines.

  12. How do I bulk select an Mark as Junk, create a new folder, do advanced search? All basic features that were in the original Hotmail.

    How do I ...
Bulk select and Mark as Junk?
    Create a new folder?
Do an advanced search based on dates/folders/name/domain/etc?

All basic features that were in the original Hotmail but have been buried or removed for some reason in the oversimplified idiot proof user interface of outlook on a smartphone.

  13. Add a 'virtual post-it note' to emails.

For those of us using a shared inbox in an office full of people. Flagging an email is all well and good, but being able to quickly add a note to it would make things clearer. This way, rather than leaving them flagged in the inbox, one could highlight the reason it's still there, who can best resolve it and the action needed to process it. (Current methods of adding a note are not simple.)

  14. Show the number of email addresses behind all internal distribution lists

Show the number of email address that an internal distribution list has behind it.

I keep getting one or two mails per day using huge distribution lists (hundreds or more employees) - a sensible sender would not send to 100+ people if he knew that he will spam so many recipients

  15. It is necessary that the mail have the option of guaranteeing the letter in the design part for which we have tired eyesight or other visual

It is necessary that the mail have the option of guaranteeing the letter in the design part for which we have tired eyesight or other visual situations that you did not consider in the Spanish version. Thank you worse attend and correct and the omission because to enlarge manually every time it opens is an unnecessary inconvenience.

  17. Allow people choose to unsuspend their account another time

Allow people choose to unsuspend their account another time. Right now I get the same suspended "enter your phone number" page even if I want to log into a different working account!!!!

  18. As a user I can't see where features I am looking for are. Grey is a hard colour to see.

Just switch the grey for something else or give users the option to do so themselves. Themes?

  19. When I create an inbox rule, provide the option to auto-reply to the sender if it meets all the criteria, after moving to a folder.

When I create an inbox rule, provide the option to auto-reply to the sender if it meets all the criteria, after moving to a folder. The option to send a text message exists, however to ensure that I have received the message sent, an auto-reply after moving to a folder would be awesome. I do not wish to leave the auto-reply on, which will send to everyone who sends an email.

  20. Opt-in only for email reminders from personal info within my emails.

As a default I would like Outlook NOT to send me email derived from information within my personal emails, such as flight reminders. Should be opt I'm only for anything that automatically "reads" my email.
