Please change it back, so the select all feature only applies to the box you are working in.
Please change the select all feature back to only select all boxes in the inbox you are working in. Right now select all is all or nothing, to include the flagged items which makes cleaning out my inbox very inconvenient.
The ability to select all messages in a given folder (not only the ones that are in view) is being worked on. As soon as we have an update on this, I’ll share with the users in this forum.

Why make changes that are not required. Can anyone tell me if this is a permanent things or do some settings need to be changed. If its not the settings then I will simply go elsewhere as it stands the product is useless plenty other options out there.

now they did something to the CTRL key...I used to be able to shift-select a whole column of messages to delete, and CTRL-select to "de-select" only one of them...but now instead of deselecting, the CTRL key deselects EVERYTHING except the one I was trying to hang on to...QUIT ******* WITH IT! Leave it alone already! People have been using the same shortcut keys for 20 years and have them memorized...why in the world would you **** with it? So typically MS...always trying to fix what aint' broke.
For the love of God PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add a select all button so deleted items can be purged all at once instead of having to click on each one individually.

Emails in ??

Hopefully not simply selecting all, but being able to run a search and find and move all found (not just visible) is CRITICAL. Without this feature, the web version of Outlook is virtually useless--it is impossible to manage email via a browser.
This is quite amazing. It was never fixed after so many years?
I cannot select all emails in the search result.
Still waiting on that 'select all'
Considering deleting my account
I just resorted to loading it in chrome, making the window preposterously large (so it overflowed my 4k monitor), then zooming WAY WAY WAY out (25% zoom) so my inbox was showing about 200 messages vertically (many of which I couldn't see because they were off the bottom of the screen). Then I could "select all in view" as is the stupid limit. But at least it was a pretty large chunk because I couldn't actually ready any of the content on screen.
That the best possible workaround is something as stupid as this speaks volumes for the stupidity of the developer team that stuffed this up.
What the actual **** possessed some developer / manager / architect / whoever made this call and the rest of the team that ran with it to remove the select all option.
This is without a doubt the stupidest thing I have EVER seen in an email client and I've seen some utterly stupid stuff.
You can't even select all from a search, so despite having filtered the list (with the many useful filters) you STILL can't take action on all of those carefully found messages.
You guys are absolute idiots!
