Invite Attendees wont accept email address with o'apostrophe
When inviting attendees to new event, Outlook Calendar now won't accept email address with apostrophe eg in format "email@example.com" (generates error box "One or more attendees have invalid email addresses"), even though same email address is used to send emails and even forward received calendar events. This is a new development. Outlook used to let me invite to this (same) address - now just get error - is there any setting in Outlook Calendar to fix this incorrect error/block ??
After some testing, it seems to me that the issue is only arising when the email in question is only 2 letters long (gm & hr, in my case). Can anyone else confirm this?

Same issue on my end, none of the emails have apostrophe in them but there is only one person in my entire organisation I am able to send calendar invite to, issue started friday 25 October and I have never had issues like this before.. Please help and correct the issue, I am not able to send any calendar invites at the moment..
Wow two comments on the same day! Clearly this is an issue that has been springing up a lot lately. I have the same issue, also with an email with no apostrophe. I can send calendar invites to every person in my organization except for this one...

Was there any response at all to this? I'm having the same issue but with a regular email address (no apostrophe) at my firm and it seems it's not being taken seriously. Stacey below mentioned she is too way back in May and there's no response at all!! It makes you wonder if Microsoft actually goes through this stuff at all. This UserVoice method of reporting issues simply isn't good enough in my opinion.
