Support Google Fi as a message carrier. Format is <phone number>@msg.fi.google.com.

Yes, that format is correct (...@msg.fi.google.com). However, I haven't found a way to set up Outlook to send calendar events/updates to a Project Fi number. The path to setting up SMS forwarding in Outlook uses a drop-down menu to select your carrier (short list; no Project Fi among the choices) instead of typing your carrier's @domain name. Somebody at Microsoft either needs to update that drop down list population or allow a text entry field for @msg.fi.google.com
