Cannot access my account while overseas
Every time I go overseas I cannot access my account.
A security code is sent to another email account... which is also overseas.
I can not then access the security code. BECAUSE i am locked out of all my email.
When I travel I can not access any of my email accounts.
Of course my PHONE NUMBER is overseas too since I am traveling.
How do I access my any of my email accounts?

How about an option to enable email access prior to leaving by simply indicating which country you are going to use and the dates that you want to be able to access it.
Outlook people to use some brains and check the customers email (flights and hotels booked in Sri Lanka) instead of just blocking that person that has logged on in Sri Lanka!!!
Remove additional login security when overseas. Very irritating , it is the ‘world wide web’ which suggests worldwide access to your mail. If we must revert to gmail every time we want to login , what is the point of having hotmail at all ???
Waste of time and energy . Please address the issue. Many people travel regularly these days.
Yes it is the “world wide web” which suggests world wide usage. Tired of having to revert to other email account just to open Hotmail . If other email has to be used , may as well abort hotmail altogether

I am getting really annoyed by these "unusual activity" emails. I travel a lot and every time I try to get to my emails with my preferred email client when I am travelling, microsoft does not permit to logon automatically. I WANT TO OPT OUT OF THIS SO-CALLED "SECURITY" FUNCTIONALITY. PLEASE DO NOT CHECK FROM WHICH POSITION I OR MY PREFERRED EMAIL CLIENT LOGIN. THIS ONLY CAUSES ME TO LOOSE A LOT OF TIME AND DOES NOT RAISE SECURITY.
Apparently the AI behind the "unusual activity" functunality is in reality quite artificially dumb. My advice is to not let it run loose on clients that use your products and services, unless you want to lower client satisfaction.
Moreover, I have been using computers and managing my passwords nicely since 1980, and I know to be careful with passwords, security, etc. etc. Your unrequested interference in this regard is actually quite offending.
And NO, I do not want to switch email client, use doubledutch security or have to login to the live.com website every time I want to manage my emails when I am travelling.

I travel all around the world and it is extremely frustrating that your "security" features block me because they don't recognize the IP address. Please give me the opportunity to authorize you to allow my log-in no matter where the IP address is located, without having to resort to the "code." Thank you.
