Get rid of "Focused"
Focused inbox is not useful. Focused inbox has been putting too many items into the Other. Get rid of it!
Thank you for reaching out to let us know about your recent experience while using outlook.com.
We have some good news! You can actually turn the Focused inbox feature off and on as you wish. To do so:
1. Go to settings in the top right corner of your screen. On the next screen, look in the left panel.
2.Scroll down until you see a heading titled Layout.
3.Listed under layout you should see an option for Focused Inbox.
After you’ve clicked on Focused Inbox you will be given the option to “sort messages into Focused and Other” or “Don’t sort messages”.
4.After selecting one of these options make sure to click the save button at the top of your screen then click options on the top left to return to your updated inbox.

If I had wanted to sort mail into focused or other, I would have, I detest your assuming we want your new "bright bone-headed " ideas. Please give people the option.
It is just plain "STUPID" and a time waster!! The inbox choices of 'focused' & 'other' should be eliminated. Why should I allow someone else to determine what is relevant for me to read & when??? Get your heads out of the sand!!!
Amen! Get rid of 2 in-boxes. Let ME determine what's important to ME. Go back to one in-box!
Amen! Let ME decide what's important or not to ME. Give us back one in-box.

Please eliminate the focused and other boxes that suddenly appeared in my inbox! I do NOT want Microsoft to arrange my inbox for me! I want all my emails arriving in one box, not organized or examined by you!
I also want you to STOP putting dates pulled from my emails into a calendar, also unsolicited by me. These are actions imposed wrongfully and are categorically invasive, tantamount to snooping.
Please return the pagination feature.
This version of your email system is cumbersome and a waste of my precious time. You just changed what used to be a nice email system into one of Microsoft's many inefficient and bug-filled debacles.

I hate the changes that have been made Especially the stupid Focused list I want it gone
Really don't like the new "focused" mail. Most of the time I can't see any of my mail. Not sure where they are going. Please change back!

Add a feature where I can remove the new "Focused" "Other" feature. I don't need it nor do I want it but I can't figure out how to remove it.
Please provide an easy way to disable "Focused" inbox. What a mess this is. I chose Outlook for it's straightforward, clean interface, and unless I can disable "Focused," I'll just use my Gmail exclusively.
Please Get rid of this "Focused" feature - it is super inefficient and a pain **********. I did not want it, nor did I turn it on. I need to know who to disable it - it is really a very bad idea.
ever since mail says focused I cant view mail, nothing but trouble with outlook mail

I want to see all of my "Inbox" at the same time.
I hate the focused/other division.

Inbox now has 'focused' and 'other' options for viewing. Would much rather viewing options and basically everything about hotmail/outlook to be left how it was, changes over the past number of months have been annoying.
I do NOT like the changes you keep making to Outlook Mail. Return me to it's original version, and it would be greatly appreciated if you would STOP making changes without asking first!
At the very least give us the choice to accept the changes or NOT!
Please remove this "Other" & "Focused" feature. I want ALL MY EMAILS IN ONE PLACE!
hey this whole "focused" email thing is so stupid. i now have things missing from my inbox, they show up under search but they won't show up under either focused or others. plus, all of the things things that were moved to others should actually logically be in my focused box. this is stupid and i don't like and you guys have messed up my whole inbox.
Please give me the option of disregarding the focused/other feature. I do not want it.
I don't want my inbox separated into FOCUS & OTHER or READ & UNREAD! I want it all listed together based on the time it arrived. Why are you people screwing around with a protocol that was working fine for ages?
Stop separating my inbox into "focused" and "other". Its stupid, especially when my inbox tells me I have new e-mails and they don't show up. It took me a few minutes to find them the first time, as it was never explained that there are 2 different inboxes. If I want, I can separate them afterwards, I don't need you to tell me what e-mails on which to focus.

The Focused feature may be great for some but it has some flaws. I've turned it off, but every time I open my inbox all I see is what you think are my "focus" items. I now need to go to a different folder and then back to my inbox to get all my mail. This seems counter intuitive to me.
I have a similar problem with having the first new item open when I open my email. All that I see is that one email and I don't see an intuitive way to move to my next email without deleting the current one. Nor can I move to an already open email in my inbox if it wasn't "new" when I came in.
This destroys the whole meaning of what we have been calling inbox for decades. It doesn't enhance my experience, but, instead, causes frustration. I don't mind change, but change just for the sake of change is just confusing.
