Outlook phishing scam reporting
- Give updates on reported phishing scam emails.
- Have a list of blocked email addresses.
- Option to report fake email addresses, with updates.
I think all this could be easily sorted...
When you give your email to a company let’s say “terry.com” you also give a code to terry.com. When terry.com sends you a message it attaches your code. You could easily see if if from terry.com by viewing the code. Even better would be for the apps to recognise your code for that company. If it’s not correct then it’s in your junk...
I received a threatening e-mail from an Outlook account this afternoon by the name of Joly Buell. This person had my laptop password and was threatening to release data from my personal computer unless I paid $2,000. I've looked into it and it seems to be a scam, but I wanted to report the e-mail nevertheless. I just hope that changing my passwords was enough to keep them away.

Hello. I use the web version of Outlook for personal things. I imagine my junk email is similar to others. I manage it via blocking or reporting phishing, which doesn't always work. As a scientist, I know things don't always work.
There's one area I think would be simple to correct. Everyday I receive email in my junk box that is important or should be in my inbox. For those emails, I click on the link "Not Junk" which places it in my Inbox. However, future emails I've already declared as "Not Junk" still wind up in my junk box.
I think once someone has clicked on the "Not Junk" link, it should be added to the safe senders list. That is not happening, at least with me.
This is strange, whils tthe report message addon for Mobile App will work with Android or Samsung. This will not work on iPhone, there is no button to report message to EOP Platfrom for iPhone will work on other devices and models just not Apple ?
doing this makes everyone safer.

Please allow to chose report phishing scam when trying to get rid of spam emails on the mobile app.
Could you allow mails to be reported from the app and also to block users, I have a scamming mail I want to report and I am unable to do so from the app as I don’t use a desktop device. The sender is called your life and somehow had my password also.

It should be possible to report pishing and spam emails using the app. Also I tried using the browser of my mobile but it is still not possible. Please help us protect our security!

Getting emails from "apple" every single day. Want to report phishing scams so they can be stopped. ****** do this at all in outlook app (in inbox or individual emails). Doesn't look like Microsoft cares.
I keep getting emails from an account masked as firstname.lastname@example.org, which in fact are from email@example.com. It's clear that this is a phishing scam because my email address is not in the receiver's box, but a bunch of letters and numbers. I know this forum does not have the purpose of reporting scams but, where can I? I don't own a PC so all my email activity happens on my mobile/tablet, where I have no means to to report.
Fix it please. This is a major issue related your app and ultimately, your service. You can't turn a blind eye for ever.

We also want that capability
Please can you make an option so I can report scam emails. I am quite worried because even though I have changed my password someone's got into my email and emailed me the contents of the email are incorrect as I don't go on adult sites but I would still like you to sort it out for me because it's strange and un safe.
On a mobile device you can't select multiple messages as phishing mails, they shouldn't be getting through in the 1st place. In fact reporting any mail as phishing is ******* a mobile and this needs drastic improvement! Just deleting leaves them free to try and scam someone else!

Microsoft/Outlook.com email servers are not as good as Google/gmail servers. Period. I have never seen any type of SPAM emails come into my gmail account. Plus, I only use my Outlook.com email for business reasons or official Microsoft purchases. I get around 30 to 50 spam emails a day.
Step your email server game up Microsoft.
I feel like when I report phishing scams, you don't do anything about it or investigate it because I keep getting similar emails.
I already have tried blocking them and reporting them but it doesn't seem to be helping.
1. Please add report phishing scam to mobile app interface and let delete this email with a confirmation that it was reported.
2. I get so many phishing emails for PayPal it is very frustrating It would be so easy to compare the sender "name" to the email address to see it is a fake but this option does not exist mail filtering rules.
3. To see the sender's email address I have rotate my phone sideways and click on details. Do not hide the email address in the default view doing so makes it easier for fraudsters
Report button for scams. With all these new apple phishing scams, I have nowhere to report this and its filling my inbox. It scares me to have emails like this sitting in any of my folders including deleted.
