Select All Option for Recovering Deleted Items
Add a Select All box in the Recover Deleted Items window so users don't have to individually select each item they want to recover. Very time consuming and tedious task when a user has a lot of items to recover.

Recover Deleted Items no longer works at all. If you click on Recover Deleted Items, you get a separate window (Dumpster Pop Out) which is empty. So, um, yeah how do we ever recover a deleted items? Should we stop deleting emails until this gets fixed on the off chance that we might need to recover an accidentally deleted item.

Add dynamic filter with wildcard support to the recover permanently deleted items function for Windows Outlook client and OWA.

In Mobile web interface where Recover Deleted Items.
Within Outlook email in the "Deleted Items" section area there is an option to "Recover deleted items". When selected this brings up a pop-up window allowing a user to individually select the email items they wish to recover (or delete/purge). There is not an option check box or button to select all items which would be useful if a user has a number of items they wish to select in one go. Can this simple addition be added please (it is already a feature in other areas/windows of Outlook email).
Unbelievably annoying that if you try to empty trash it is moved into a recover deleted items folder, WHERE IT STAYS FOREVER...even if you have specified an automatic empty deleted items. To add to the frustration, you can't select all items in the recover pane to purge everything. you have to do it one at a time, or shift click to do about ten at a time. Just spent an hour purging. Why is there no way to stop this insane feature if you don't want it! Microsoft you are idiots.

"Recover deleted items" needs to have a purge all option, or be removed all together. When I delete emails from trash, it should be deleted, not kept in another folder.
it would be nice if there was one button in the recovery deleted files box, where everything would get deleted instead of doing it one by one.

Dear Hotmail Staff:
Just a heads up that your junkmail recovery box, by that I mean the mechanism into which one can delete his unwanted messages or recover them, really needs a 'select all messages' switch. While the recovery box is a good Idea and I do in fact like it, it is a bit tedious to go through sometimes between ten and one hundred messages and individually select each one - a 'select all' button would make this much faster. Can one be arranged? Just a thought.

I have been deleting items in the recovery section of Outlook Mail by highlighting them one at a time ..IS THERE A DELETE ALL BUTTON !?
I can Delete All from my Sent Items box. I can Delete All from my Junk box. I can Delete All from my Deleted Items box.
Why can't I Purge All from my Recover Deleted Items box?

How do I purge ALL the items in the recover deleted items folder?
Hi - I would like to see a purge all button in the 'recover deleted items' file. There are thousands of emails in there - how can I delete all of them without individually clicking on each item.

I see over 3500 contacts when I try to restore deleted contacts. I cannot select all, I have to select a few at a time. There should be an easy way to select all contacts, then purge or restore all.
I need to recover all my deleted message back from inbox! i can able to select all
I was under the impression that "Deleted" emails went away after about 30 days but found out yesterday that they don't. I spent the last 2 days PURGING emails dating from 2009.
How about you put in a link like you have for the rest of the mailboxes that allows you to select ALL emails in the "Recover Deleted Emails" section so those that find out they have thousands of emails stored for "Recovery" can quickly DELETE THEM.....
Unfortunately outlook.com will not have that much desired feature of purge all or even the possibly of selecting all deleted items. That is on purpose. People who have run into filling up their account space and are tired of selecting individual deleted items to purge them will have to get the paid version of outlook.com, which has twice the space as the free one. Thank you cheeky microsoft:-)))
Would you please consider adding a 'Select All' button to the Recover Deleted Items page so you many users could click one button to purge all previously deleted message instead of having to click each individual message for deletion?
Given the fact that the vast majority of users, like myself, receive numerous emails daily (in my case, at least 50 per day) that they have to delete, it would be a great time saver if I could just click 'Select All' and then click "Purge" and be done with it instead of having to make 50 clicks.
Plus, if you click 49 messages and then accidentally click outside the box of the 50th message, you have to start all over again and click the same 50 messages. This causes a lot of frustration.
You might consider making a change here also so if someone accidentally clicks outside one of the boxes as they are checking items off on this list, that when doing so doesn't unckeck all the other boxes they checked.
Please, do take my concerns to your team for consideration. I'm sure all of them who are using Hotmail. Live Mail and Outlook.com would agree that this is a much needed feature that would really make, me them and your millions of users very happy.
Below is the reference link and text that appears on the page.
Recover Deleted Items
These items were recently permanently deleted or emptied from the Deleted Items folder. You can either recover these items to their original locations or purge them.
Thank you for your consideration, and even more so if you and your team can see your way to making these changes which would greatly improve and enhance the user experience for all of your Hotmail, Live and Outlook.com users world wide.
PS: I know, it's a "little" thing, but it's really a "big" change that would make your world wide users very happy.
