One or more folders in your mailbox have name conflicts with others or system reserved names. Folders with these names can't be downloaded
What does it mean? Have a view folders only but not same name....?!?!?
Clear infos about problem!
I have a brand new Macbook Pro and the Mail OS X has the default folder named "Junk"
I keep getting the conflict message as i understand Sept 1, 2016 the server junk folder on the MS server side has recently been renamed Junk Email. This is causing a conflict as this default in OS X is not changeable. and the change you made causes this error. Please either
1) change the name of the folder Junk Email back to Junk
2) give us the ability at the web mail to rename it ourselves!
This is driving us all crazy!
No way to change it so it will be an ongoing problem, emails telling me of the conflict won't stop but when I sign it I can't get rid of the duplicate folders.

i have the same problem... what can i do to resolve the problem
One or more folders in your mailbox have name conflicts with others or system reserved names.
Folders with these names can't be downloaded by your IMAP e-mail program.
Please connect to your mailbox using your Web browser and rename those folders. Once renamed, those folders will be displayed in your IMAP e-mail application correctly.
