Turn off Junk Mail Filtering
Please allow all junk mail filtering to be turned off!

It is never good to restrict the user's options. Why do it?

Absolutely ridiculous junk filtering that's actually putting me off using outlook as an email service entirely. Most of my emails come from my 123-reg domain that automatically forwards it to my Outlook email, and ALL of the incoming emails get sent straight into the junk. I have even set up rules to automatically move all emails sent to my original email domain into the Inbox, and nothing happens! Please for the love of god fix this.

I'm using Gmail as my mail client and and transfer every mail I get to my Google inbox. Yet I still have to log in this shithole Outlook.com client every now and then because junk mails don't get transferred and I have to filter through what's good and what's bad manually myself.
This is very annoying.
Your spam algo is broken. 90% of my "Junk" is actually useful stuff, not spam. Please add an option to turn off the Junk filter. I don't have time to safelist everyone.
No-one's listening. We're all just whistling in the wind.

A junk filter that needs checking every day is useless. For my mailbox, I think the filter has caught maybe one or two junk emails in a year; in the same timespan it has dropped maybe 100-200 legitimate emails into Junk.

Either make the filter work properly or allow us to disable it. As a minimum you need to stop auto deleting my "junk" emails after 2 weeks.
Seriously? Someone suggested this over 4 years ago? TBH, I think the junk filter has got worse since then, but it really is annoyoing that we don't have this simple control over our inbox. More goes there by default now than doesn't. Very annoying. Makes a simple feature useless.

There are a lot of times my important mail sent into the junk mail box without any notice, this function has ********* my stuffs for TOO MANY TIMES! If you don't know how to do auto classifying, if your programmers are not familiar with latest NLP technology that's FINE, but please leave us a selection that could disable this feature, instead of letting your user killed by these silly bugs.

I was wondering why a specific discussion that would be occurring via email didn't occur when I expected it to, I was shocked that I hadn't gotten one email about the topic at hand, because the discussion was set to occur on a specific date.
Then I checked my spam folder, and there they were, all the missing emails, too late for me to take action on... but not just those emails:
they were there in spam, along with numerous other legitimate emails it turned out I've missed over the past month.
All these emails came from addresses that had previously made it though the spam filters.
Thanks MS, it's really cool and efficient for me to suddenly have to check my spam folder every day or so to make sure legit emails aren't being dumped into spam, even though they always reached me in the past.
Get it in gear, Microsoft, and make it so ALL spam filters can be disabled. It's obviously a problem, and I'd rather be subjected to some spam emails than miss out on genuine emails.

Needs better junk filter I’ve got too many emails going to junk which are actually legitimate safe proper emails and I can on my phone see any way to change this and mark then as safe or anything similar
Microsoft, or Outlook team, or whoever: you have *really* dropped the ball on this. This is utterly pathetic. Several years of people reporting problems with legitimate emails consistently getting shoved into the Junk folder and you've done absolutely *nothing* to fix it.

I have been a user for 22 years. I am so disappointed with the way Hotmail/Outlook is progressing. You had dumb features such as "focused" and "other" then your "junk" filter starts placing club emails in just because I don't open up the email... You do realize you can "read" an email just by looking at the subject right? So that makes it to where I have to check THREE folders everyday just to make sure I am not missing anything.
The WORST thing, however, is that now Hotmail is screening my emails and just not delivering certain ones to my inbox. I am currently seeking employment and an interested party sent me an email to progress with the interview process. I DID NOT receive the said email. This was not the first incident and I am sure there are a lot more that I am just unaware of. I had to get this potential employer to send the email to my GMAIL account. Guess what... I received it within seconds.
Hotmail/Outlook/Microsoft. GET IT TOGETHER. Stop using your stupid bots to screen incoming emails if you can't accurately rely on them to filter out the correct "junk". You almost caused me a great career opportunity but don't think twice about filtering "***** enlargement" or "finding someone special in your area".
Important emails constantly end up in the junk folder. This requires me to CONSTANTLY check the junk folder. Adding to safe senders is such a pain and NOT a solution. Microsoft, your AI is not advanced enough to distinguish junk mail so stop pretending it is.
suddenly emails are nto coming when they used to. and they are important.
How can I turn off this junk or spam email selection?
Provide option to turn off spam filter. Mails from domains on white list also go to spam.
Routinely, critical emails are going to my junk folder. Invoices that I need to pay to run my business, receipts for purchases, emails from friends/family.
The overactive spam filter is making my email account borderline useless.
Yes spam is annoying, but missing urgent or critical communication as a result of items being incorrectly flagged as “junk” is far more frustrating than the odd email from a scammer that I can just delete and move on.
Perhaps offer different levels of sensitivity to allow the user to choose how overzealous they would like their spam filter to be, for me no filtering at all is better than 10+ false positives every day.
Critical emails routinely get detected as spam and sent to the junk folder.
I get it, no one likes spam, but missing crucial emails is worse.

Even e-mail I send from my work domain to my Outlook.com account arrives in the Junk mailbox. I would love to see an option to disable the filtering altogether. I forward my Outlook.com e-mail to my private e-mail address and e-mail marked as Junk does NOT get forwarded!
