  1. Get rid of "Focused"

    Focused inbox is not useful. Focused inbox has been putting too many items into the Other. Get rid of it!

      We have some good news! You can actually turn the Focused inbox feature off and on as you wish. To do so:
      1. Go to settings in the top right corner of your screen. On the next screen,look in the left panel.
      2.Scroll down until you see a heading titled Layout.
      3.Listed under layout you should see an option for Focused Inbox.
      After you’ve clicked on Focused Inbox you will be given the option to “sort messages into Focused and Other” or “Don’t sort messages”.
      4.After selecting one of these options make sure to click the save button at the top of your screen then click options on the top left to return to your updated inbox.

        • Remove Focused Inbox

          Please remove (or make optional) the Focused feature... I am missing important emails because of it. I don't even understand what the idea behind is.

              • Can't scroll within email messages

                I'm using a Mac laptop with OS 10.12.6 and Safari 10.1.2, (the latest versions) I've already cleared the cache etc. I was told by the "community support" area to post here. If anyone from Microsoft actually reads this, the problem is that I cannot read email messages because I cannot scroll down within the messages (in the inbox or elsewhere) - so, you can only see the top of the message and not the rest of it. Doesn't work in any way, so can't use a mouse with the scrollbar, arrow keys or page up/page down keys. This is extremely…

                    HI!
                    I received this am an e mail saying somebody had been trying to use my hotmail account. This triggers and long, impossible process that forces me not to use my hotmail account for 24 hours- I don't even have the certainty I will be able to after those 24 hours. I have provided e mail addresses, passwords, wasted time for an overkill process that just enables you to have more information on me.                           My contacts seem to unavailable when ever I try to use them I type in a name then click on it but then it says there is not contact. Why are they so screwed up? This is very annoying. Also,I try to edit them when I finally get one open & it will not permit my edit to be saved.

                                  • Make cell phones access pics.

                                    Why can't I access my pictures within my email on my cell phone??

                                    I can literally only see them when creating a message and it uploads to the message. Also cannot upload new pics, can only do those on computers (??!!)

                                    Please change this. Thanks for hearing this out, been using Hotmail for a long time and appreciate it.

                                    • I am getting hacked or someone is using my account!!

                                      I am getting emails that someone is using my PayPal accounts that happen to be linked to everything. Now ALL my emails are getting hacked. I need someone to answer me what is going on. I have my bank information compromised at this point since my bank and PayPal account are linked. Worse! I cannot even access my Venmo account because it is tied to my old phone number and I cannot get into the accounts. I'm currently trying to figure this out. My personal information is being hugely compromised. I keep getting notification that my emails are being used…
