  1. Bring back the Unread Mail from All folders option

In Outlook for Desktop and Outlook Web Access you have the ability to view All Unread Mail from All Folders. Now you don't have this option in outlook.com (Office 365 email). If you have mail filtered to a ton of folders this becomes a headache and is causing me to re-work my workflow for email

  2. Toggle/Switch Between Accounts

Toggle/Switch Between Accounts the same way you can do with gmail accounts. I have more than one gmail, and google allows me to switch between the accounts very easily. I'd like to see the same feature implemented in hotmail.

  5. New feedback from Outlook.com

The right side Adsense Ads are annoying. I dont know why you need Ads to earn money. Your competitor (Gmail) is giving the free service without any ads(web version) then why you are still showing it.

If you remove the Ads then you are in the competition of Gmail. Please remove it.

Otherwise everything is fine, simple UI looks good.

    Thanks for the free service.

  6. 'Add to Safe Senders list'

Add an option/drop down menu to the 'Not Junk' button to easily add someone to the 'Safe Senders list'.

It doesn't make sense to me that you can easily add someone to the 'blocked' list by selecting the email in the Junk Folder and selecting the option from a drop down list at the top, but the opposite option is not as easily accessible.

Over the past few months I have missed more legitimate emails because they have been auto-classified as junk, than ever before.

Surely the simplest fix to this increasing annoyance is to provide quick and easy access…

  8. Being able to report e-mails in Outlook phone app as phishing scams / spam!

I can report phishing scams from Outlook Email on my PC but there is no option for this from my iPhone when checking my e-mails on your app on my phone - can you add this please as all I can do is delete stuff or move to my junk folder so the only way to cut down on getting this spam is block each address individually on my phone. Very time consuming and is not helping you or others identify it as phishing scams or spam.

  9. Improve the spam filter

Either give us the ability to turn it off, or at least improve learning from using the 'not junk' feature. Legitimate email is increasingly being incorrectly moved to the junk folder, even though the sender and their domain have been added to the address book or safe sender lists. Every day I must go in and mark about 99% of the 'junk' emails as 'not junk', and then the next day, they are back again. Australia has ONE postal provider, but Outlook treats their email notifications as spam, no matter what I do.

  12. restore block filter

Return "block all mail to inbox not on contact list" filter. It is absurd to have to daily add new addresses to a block or safe list and clearly you changed that feature for your own purposes. I will switch to a different mail system if I continue to get spam in my inbox.

  13. opt-out

Can we have an opt-out for the new look? I don't need to see my inbox at the same time as a specific email. I would much rather have wide view of subject lines and emails (especially since I'm now having to scroll sideways to read emails which is not helpful at all)

It also takes more steps to move emails to folders because it doesn't display them all unless you click something and then it loads an extra box - unnecessary. And on mobile, I can't seem to mass delete items, which was most import for me.

Thank you for the feedback. We’re working on improving the overall experience with birthday calendar and daily agenda mail to make it more personal and relevant. If you prefer not to receive your agenda in mail, you can opt out by going to Outlook.com > Settings > Calendar > Agenda mail.

  16. Eliminate Subscriptions Section

It’s pretty much useless, especially when all it has is a bunch of spam I haven’t signed up for. It either displays links to malicious sites when trying to unsubscribe, or the automated e-mail it generates will let the spammers know it’s an active account. At least I’d like to see the option to get clean up the list of unsubscribed newsletters or whatever.

  17. full desktop version of email for mobile users

Give mobile phone users access to use the full desktop version of email, instead of limiting the user to the mobile view.

  18. Alias with different displayed name

Display different name for each alias. I speak English , Japanese and Chinese. So I create 3 alias to deal with the emails in 3 language. But I can't change the alias displayed name. They are using the same name.

  20. viewing panel sizing

Make the viewing screens size adjustable like previous. Now the "inbox" viewing panel can only be widen to a set size... does not work with my email reading "system". Thanks
