Open individual mail in new tab
It would be nice if one could open individual emails in separate tabs, going back and forth is EXTremely frustrating!! (excuse the caps, but that's an indication of how frustrating it is)

Unblocking Senders
Show how to unblock sender would be great!! This is not listed in your help assistance nor in the feedback forum. Instructions are needed if you accidentally block a sender.

Put a snooze button for mails
It would be great if you can provide a snooze button to the mails we receive so that we can command the mails to reappear in our inbox at later points of time (just like what google has done in Inbox)

Importing contacts
I'd like to import my contacts from a .csv file, not other email accounts.

Timed delete messages
It would be nice to have a setting that I can apply to certain emails from certain companies/ people that would automatically delete out of my inbox after a certain period of time. A length of time that I could choose. Then the inbox doesn't get too full.

Display folder location for search results
Please can make it possible to see which folder a message is saved in when it has been located using the search function. Not being able to do this is hugely frustrating when trying to organise emails.

Copy/Paste Nerfed?
Let people copy and paste the email address from an email. rather than binging up a contact info pop up and having no ability to right click. I like adding new addresses to pre existing sorting rules so copying email addresses is an essential.

Delete Emails permanently
Need the filter option to permanently delete a message - not even put in Deleted Items.

allow image to be included in an email signature
You have to manually add an image to a signature each time you send it, because setting the image to add automatically in the signature is not working. This is a real pain.

Toggle/Switch Between Accounts
Toggle/Switch Between Accounts the same way you can do with gmail accounts. I have more than one gmail, and google allows me to switch between the accounts very easily. I'd like to see the same feature implemented in hotmail.

Subject line as its own column
Please have a view option in which the subject line of emails is its own column, rather than embedded below the sender name.
This enables faster viewing of subject lines, and more rows per page for viewing emails.
Make it just like the regular "outlook."

Adjustable column width
It would be great if you could let me adjust the size of the columns in my inbox. Currently the 'sender' column takes up more than half the space on the screen. This isnot ideal, as I do not regularly have senders that would be of such a length to utilize all of this.
It would be better if I could see the subject and more of the message preview than a lot of blank space for the sender field

Agenda View with Handwriting
Create a one-note like experience with an agenda view where one can use their surface pen to write in by hand their daily schedule, as well as any to-dos or tasks. For many people, "penciling in" their schedule is how they effectively learn and remember their routine, They are hesitant to go digital with their schedules, however, if there is an option to write it in, it is a lot more accessible to these people. Also, this kind of agenda use of windows 10 provides a new platform and need for small tablets for portability that you can write on.

Attachment progress meter?
I miss the progress meter when loading attachments into e-mails. I Send mixes of songs to clients and that has been a very helpful feature in the past.

blocking unwanted senders email
Your new outlook version is still missing important items. One example: The older versions allowed you to hover the pointer over an incoming message & it would show who/the email address of the sender. And it allowed you a series of choices to delete or block the sender. This was very important to completely get rid of continuous junk mail or possibly email with Trojan horse--instead of opening and having possible problems.

restore block filter
Return "block all mail to inbox not on contact list" filter. It is absurd to have to daily add new addresses to a block or safe list and clearly you changed that feature for your own purposes. I will switch to a different mail system if I continue to get spam in my inbox.

Easier calendar synch
Allow synching and copying from other calendars. I have the desktop MS Outlook (Office). Let me synch the two calendars, or at least drag/drop appointments from one to the other.

Please change it back, so the select all feature only applies to the box you are working in.
Please change the select all feature back to only select all boxes in the inbox you are working in. Right now select all is all or nothing, to include the flagged items which makes cleaning out my inbox very inconvenient.
11,572 votesThe ability to select all messages in a given folder (not only the ones that are in view) is being worked on. As soon as we have an update on this, I’ll share with the users in this forum.
