meeting with dependencies
Meetings with task dependencies.
When arranging a meeting you should be able to add preparatory work.
Example:
I want to present the results of my work in a meeting.
1. I add the proposed meeting time/date.
2. I have to estimate the amount of work that has to be done in advance ("My work" in hours and "Creating presentation" in hours.)
3. Outlook should then find the required openings in my calendar when this can be done.If there is no such openings (there isn't enough time to do the preparatory work for the meeting) Outlook prompts me on this…

Multiple week Views without clicking on Add buttons
In Calendar, I really preferred the last version.
I need to see multiple calendars and schedules over a two or three week period without having to click on each day to view that day.I could really use a one week, two week, three week and month view.
The last version really for worked for me and my employees and made keeping up and viewing everyone's schedules easily and seamlessly.2 votes -
Bold days on calendar to show if you have something scheduled
It would be helpful if the monthly calendar had the days darkened if you have something calendared for that day. That way you don't have to skim through every day to see if you have something scheduled later in the day.

Tie into MS Office Outlook calendars
I have used Outlook desktop for years with my MS Office. I heavily use the calendar in Outlook for all my scheduling. I would like to see Outlook.com tie in not only my email from my POP server, but also my calendar from my desktop Outlook. It is already tied to my MS account, so it should be easy enough to link. Then any update done on my desktop calendar is automatically transferred to my Outlook.com calendar.

Add Quick Notes feature to Calendar
Please add calendar functionality that allows user to add quick notes to any particular calendar date. Users do not always need to create a full event. We would like to be able to quickly jot down something important that occurs on a particular date.

A few things:
When publishing a calendar would be useful to have more granular control over what gets published. Currently you have 2 options. The first just shows the 'status' of various meetings (busy, free time, tentative, out of office etc), the second enables the viewer to see more information (meeting title, location, notes etc). I would be good to be able to check all various options and customise exactly what you want published. I for example want more info than just the status showing, but want things like the location, appointment…

Add entries to birthday calendar without creating a contact
Currently, if you add a new entry to the Birthday Calendar, it will create a contact record. You should have the ability to create birthday's on that calendar without the contact record. Pets, babies, etc... are 'people' I don't need clogging up my contact list, but their birthdays are important.

Add Support for Non-Gregorian Calendars
It would be great if Outlook.com allowed users to display an alternate calendar on top of the standard Gregorian Calendar as is possible in the Microsoft Office Outlook application. Even better would be the ability to schedule recurring appointments on a non-Gregorian calendar.
The specific example I'm thinking of is the Hebrew soli-lunar calendar, which would be useful for me (and likely for others) for keeping track of my relatives' Yahrzeits (anniversary of passing).
I am sure that this feature would be greatly appreciated by users of other calendars (Arabic, Chinese, etc.) as well and would set Outlook.com apart from…
